***Ode To Peixe***
About a month ago, we bought Travis a little fish, whom after much thought and consideration was officially named Peixe. (In Portuguese this means "Fish")
It is with great sadness that we announce, that Peixe passed quietly from this life earlier this week. Peixe will be greatly missed by his surviving family and friends. He was a confident fish, and an inspiration. He was a companion and a friend to all who bothered to look into his fish bowl. We are sad to lose Peixe after a brief eating disorder that took his life. Yes, we are sorry to say that in the later days of his life, Peixe became anorexic, and finally succumbed to this horrible illness. Peixe, you will be missed more than you will ever know, and we hope that you are happy in that big ocean in the sky.
Please, we ask that you take a moment of silence to honor our beloved friend.

I did take a moment of silence. It was brief, but still heartfelt. 'Tis your turn to add to the story on the book club blog.
Don't worry Peixe will be able to hang out with all of the 62 unamed fish that Scot and I have killed since we got married.
