Breath Check!

So my Dad and I ran to Wal-Mart last night to pick up some meds for my mom, and a few groceries. Teagan and I got a little behind my dad (Some old lady cut me off) and as I caught up to him in the store, some lady was talking to him a million miles an hour, holding her eye. Dad had a very interesting look on his face. It was a "Are you kidding me, No way" kind of look. As I walked up, she told Dad never mind, she only stopped him because he had his work badge on and looked "all official." She then turned to me still saying something about having something in her eye that she couldn't get out. She then pulls her eye down, and gets really close to me. Like she wants me to look in her eye. Then she says "Blow". WHAT??? So after quickly running a mental check to see how offensive my breath might be, I blew, lightly at her eye, and she said, "Oh Honey, come closer and really blow" so I blew in her eye. After a moment of blinking, she said, "oh, you got it! I pulled out like 30 eyelashes trying to get that Thank you" and with that she walked away.

The Chipmunk Strikes Again!

Teagan has a tendency of hiding food! Sunday night, Travis and I were talking, and Teagan was emptying a little basket that holds his toys. When he took the last toy out, we discovered what was hidden there!

Yes, that is a half eaten Vanilla Wafer, and a Baby Puff!

And He decided to eat the Wafer!
("It's not that old mom!")
He then put all his toys back in the box. Leaving the Baby Puff for another day!

"You may be bigger... But don't mess with me"

On Sunday night, we got to go and see Teagan's Great-Grandma Kulbeth. (And she is really Great, by the way!) We had so much fun visiting with her, and looking at some pictures she brought! While Travis and I were visiting with her, Teagan found a cool toy to play with. It was a bus that you can either sit on and walk, or push it around. Also at the house were some cousins to play with. One little boy was almost 3. Well, the little boy kept taking this toy away from Teagan. Teagan, being such a sweetheart, would just let him take it and sit with me (I got a few cars from the diaper bag and Teagan would play with them on my lap) until the little boy got bored and would abandon this toy. Then Teagan would run over and reclaim it. Just to be bumped off again by this cousin. Well, they were in the Kitchen when the cousin was trying to reclaim the toy, when I heard some noise. I peeked into the kitchen, and the little boy was holding a cup half full of water, and he was very wet! Teagan just walked away and came to sit on my lap. Well, the little boy's mother came to tell me that Teagan had gotten the water and dumped it all over the cousin! Teagan just stayed on my lap the rest of the evening!

Holiday Getting to Know you!

I got this from Stacy. I know the holiday season is over...but I thought it is interesting and fun anyways!

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?
Are you Crazy? Hot Chocolate with marshmallows!

2. Does Santa wrap presents or sit them under the tree? He just sets them out and puts a blanket over them so no one can peek!

3. Colored or white lights on tree/house? We got the colored, 16 function, blink-like-crazy in every combination lights.

4. Do you hang mistletoe? We didn't buy any this year. But I wore my mistletoe socks, and made Travis and Teagan kiss me!

5. When do you put your decorations up? We try for Thanksgiving weekend, but I think we were a week late this year!

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? All of it! I just love food!

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child: I love the Christmas Eve Family night we used to have!(We have started doing it in our family too). Hearing Dad read the Christmas story, and Scot always having some crazy contribution. Having to stop right in the middle to listen to carolers. Yeah, My favorite memories will always be our Christmas program.

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? I made Santa a special cookie (aka: It had about 2 inches of Frosting on it and every kind of sprinkle you can imagine!) and put it on Santa's plate before going to bed. When we got up, the cookie was back in the Tupperware! Then Scot told me the truth!

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Nope

10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? Our tree had the crazy lights, and blue, silver and gold balls, and little red bows and an assortment of cool other little ornaments!

11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? Since we are moving to Texas and this was probably my last white Christmas for a while, I will have to say "Love it!" I love the snow, and curling up under a blanket with a good book and some hot chocolate!

12. Can you ice skate? I haven't been ice skating in 10 years. So I can, if there is a strong wall to hold me up!

13. Do you remember your favorite gift? Snowy! Snowy was a large white teddy bear that I got when I was five. He had a green scarf and a green hat that said 1988 on the brim of his hat. Merilee and I used to hide things in his hat, and his eyeball fell out once when we were riding bikes and mom had to hot glue it back on! And Merilee threw up on it a lot when we were little but he was my favorite, and just before I went home for Thanksgiving my mom took him to Goodwill without telling me, so now I don't have my favorite christmas toy ever!!

14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you?Family! I love being with my family, or calling them!

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? Dad's divinity! My amazing Homemade fudge... I just love food!!

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? Family Night on Christmas Eve!

17. What tops your tree? Star

18. Which do you prefer, giving or receiving? Giving! It is so fun to see Teagan Love, and I mean LOVE, the wrapping paper we gave him for Christmas!

19. What is your favorite Christmas Song? I don't think I can pick. But Teagan loved the Dashing through the Snow, and would cry in the car until we sang it to him!

20. Candy Canes! The only one I ate this year was after Christmas, at Tithing settlement, I got one from the Bishop.

21. What is you favorite Christmas movie? White Christmas, no... The Polar Express, No... White Christmas, It's a toss up!

22. Black Friday. . . all over it or NO WAY? We slept in that day!

23. Craziest gift you ever got? Socks!

24. Is your tree artificial or fresh cut? Are you kidding, it's not a true Christmas Tree if it's not real! It has to be a real Tree!

25. What do you eat for Christmas breakfast? Well, Travis has a tradition to have a Christmas Bread, but the Yeast didn't work this year, so we had homemade Pancakes!

I thought this was fun! I would like to know what some of the rest of you think about Christmas!

Christmas Break is so Fun!

It was nice having Travis for Christmas Break. No homework!! So we took advantage of it all! Here are some of the things that we did! We made Christmas Cookies for Santa!

We went bowling!



At this point, I have to admit that neither Travis, or I got above 100 on our bowling score. But we both had a little help!



I believe we can use the same phrase my dad used to use when I bowled. "Let's go get something to eat, and we can still be back to watch it get to the end of the lane!" Way to Go Teagan!



Travis: "Can't we turn on the bumpers? I was going to get a spare!"
Me: "Nope! Hee Hee Hee"



My boys took me to dinner for my birthday! I couldn't have asked for more enjoyable dinner!





He is just so Dang Cute!



We went to Temple Square! (Sorry Leeann and Merilee it was just a last minute thing!)



Like I said, He's just so Dang Cute!



I have a handsome Husband!!

Snow, Snow, Snow!!!

I love the snow, so when we got dumped on just before Christmas, we just had to get out there and play a little! We made a little family of Snow Angels! We are all there! Teagan had so much fun playing in the snow!



We also got a sled, unfortunately the store didn't have any plain old straight orange sleds. So we had to get one of the small round one that turns around as you go down the hill. Teagan loved going down with his dad!



It took him a while to decide if this was really fun or not! But decided it was Really fun!



Enough with the photo-op Mom! Let's go!



By the end of...oh, 30 minutes... Teagan had decided he was Exhausted, and we went home to have some hot chocolate!



We got new snow on Christmas morning, and so we decided to go snow shoeing! It was so much fun!



The snow was knee deep in most places, but we sure had a lot of Fun! Teagan was giggling most of the time!
