Good-Bye to the Garden

We pulled out the garden this past weekend. We will miss the tomatoes and the cucumbers!! I miss the fresh parsley and the snap peas!! Hopefully we will get a garden in next year, but it depends on when we move!! Teagan will miss the Garden, He learned which tomatoes were okay to eat and would pull them off the vine and have a snack. We have to walk past the garden to take the trash out, so every time we took the trash out, we had to stop for a snack. Even if it was just after dinner!! We went for a hike for date night the other night! It was a lot of fun! Teagan is getting so big!!

Time Flies!!

Wow! It's been a while since I've written, I know, I know. But things are a little crazy around here. Let me bring you up to date on our lives!

Travis is currently applying for jobs. So far he has interviewed with 6 companies, and has another interview today. He is flying to California on Friday for an on-site interview with a company called Accenture, and then he flies out a week from today to Texas, for an on site interview with USAA. He's already had an offer, but we want to see how things go with these other interviews before we decide where we will be going. Travis is keeping very busy between school work (He has so much homework every night!), work, and interviews. His calling is keeping him pretty busy too. He is still the ward employment specialist and activities chair.

Katie is in the process of changing her job. She is actually going to be leaving the company she is working for,and become a contracted employee. By doing this Katie will be able to take care of Teagan, which means... NO MORE NANNY!!! This has really increased her work load. She usually starts working at 6:00 AM while Teagan is still asleep. During the day, if Teagan is asleep, then Katie is working. If Teagan is awake, Katie is playing! Then after Teagan goes down for the night, Katie has been working on her Trainers Certification test. (She has to have this test in order to be a contracted employee). Hopefully all the changes to Katie's schedule will take place in about 2 and a half weeks. Katie is also staying busy as the ward "Trunk-or-Treat" gets closer. Katie is loving taking care of Teagan!

Teagan is 1!!!! It's amazing how time flies! It seems like only yesterday we were bringing him home from the Hospital. He went to his 12 month check up and the doctor said he was healthy! He is tall and skinny by their charts. He is eating us out of house and home, though. He will eat anything and everything! He loves fresh fruit and veggies, and he will eat that more than anything else. He is getting so big, he loves to go down the slides at the park, and when he gets put on a swing, he says "Whooo, Whoooo". He is running around like crazy and getting into everything! He still isn't big on taking baths, and doesn't like to play in the water, but he is saying more and more words. Whenever he eats he says "MMMMM" and is saying "Hi Dad", when he's mad at me he will say "MMMAAA MMMAAA" He loves his cars, and jumping on the bed or the couch. He loves to give kisses and high fives and sometimes will even blow me kisses. We have been working on him sharing his snacks, and he is really good at it...when he doesn't like his snack. But when it's something he likes, "No way, go get your own!"

We are excited to go home for Thanksgiving! Love you all and I'll try to get some pictures posted.
