Photos!!!

My poor children!! Every couple of months, I decide that we need to do a photo shoot, which means getting dressed up and trying to sit still long enough for me to take the picture, while they are looking and smiling, Preferably at the same time. Notice there is only one picture of the two together. That's how successful we were in the "Smile and look at mom at the same time" area. But I got some cute ones of the kids on their own.

I think we have the next big country star! He loves his cowboy hat and is such a ham!!

You may wonder why he's holding that stuffed animal that's seen better days. I used that when he was little to judge how much he had grown. Click here to see.

So Teagan has a dog stuffed animal, Heidi has a bunny. Teagan was trying to help her hold it, but she hasn't decided if she likes it yet.

Family Update

Well, so much for my new year's resolution to update the blog once a week. So a lot has happened in the past little while since I've posted... So I'll let you know what we have been up to!


Teagan, Heidi and I have been going to zoo with some friends of ours. We love looking at the animals, and then the zoo here has a fun beach area to play!


We also have a state park pass, and spend time having picnics and playing in the Guadalupe river. Teagan likes to find little seats in the roots of trees to hang out.
Construction on the houses next to us is moving along.The house next door provided hours of entertainment.

We just hosed him down before taking him in the house, there was about 75%humidity this day, and it was sprinkling on and off. I just wish I could tell you how thick that sand was!!

Heidi is our big girl. She has started eating real food. That's been fun!!


She has finally figured out how to roll over. She can pull herself up standing, and tries to walk, but until today has not had any desire to roll over. I wonder if she will ever crawl!!

We have been busy settling into our new home. We have gotten the Garden in, and a flowerbed out front. We have gotten our garage organized, so both cars fit into it. (We have been really excited about that, as it is STINKING hot here!) I finally finished my curtains for the living room downstairs. (Thanks for the ideas!) We also have put up shelves in the kids bathroom and finished decorating that room. That's about all the news that we have!
