Travis was promoted and given an office! So to celebrate and give him a little bit of decor, we bought him a fish, a cute little blue beta fish. The problem is, Travis didn't want to walk into the office carrying a fish in the little bowl. So we devised...

Mission Flip'n impossible

It was late on Sunday night, when the plan was executed. We got dressed into our casual clothes, so we wouldn't draw attention to ourselves. We even brought along Teagan to help us appear as a normal everyday couple. (What else were we going to do? Leave him home?) As we pulled into the Novell parking lot, we tried to turn off our headlights, to be sneaky, you know, but those dang daytime running lights wouldn't let us, and we had to approach the building with lights on. We parked the car, and with the fish bowl and water carefully hidden in The Black Backpack that Travis was carrying,(you know all the mission impossible guys have a black backpack) I had The Fish hidden behind my back. So we walked into the building, and rang for the security guy. As we were waiting, afraid that we would be found out, The Fish, was put into The Backpack. Yes open cup and all, was placed in The Backpack. We thought long and hard about hiding it in Teagan's car seat, but thought The Fish had a better chance of surviving in The Black Backpack. Finally the Security guy showed up to give me a badge. We VERY carefully walked to the elevator and pushed the button, we tried not to look to suspicious as we waited for the elevator to come. We entered the elevator, but because of the security cameras, The Fish had to stay in The Black Backpack. Finally we made it to Travis's new office. We pulled The Fish, the new tank and a big jug of water out, and started to get the tank ready. When it was time to transfer The Fish, we had a little trouble, The Fish fell onto the table and flapped around for a minute, until Travis got him in the bowl. We turned out the light to his office, and quietly left the way we came. Leaving the badge on the counter for the security guy.
The Fish, later named Fred, will live out the rest of his life in the office of Travis, at Novell!

How long have you been together?
That depends, we dated in high school, then went our own ways for a few years, wrote to each other during our missions, then started to date after. So I would I have to say 2.5 years

How long did you date?
4 months in high school and 8 months after the mission, total 1 year.

Who eats more?
Travis does unless it's something sweet, like cookies and chocolate, then I do.

Who said I love you first?
Travis did, we were hiking the Y on a very cold January night. I cried! He was really sweet.

Who is taller?
Travis

Who has more speeding tickets?
That would be Travis. (but I have more accidents)

Who is smarter?
Travis, hands down.

Who is more sensitive?
Travis is!

When there is a fight who usually wins?
We usually end up compromising, but Travis is always the first to hug me and tell me he is sorry. I love him for that! He always knows how to make everything better.

Who does the laundry?
I do unless it's late, and then he swaps it before bed. (because I'm usually asleep)

Who does the dishes?
During the school year, I do most of the time. During the summer, he washes, and I rinse.

Who sleeps on the right?
Depends on how the room is set up, I like to sleep by the door, but I don't know my right from my left, so I will say, I sleep by the door, so I can be closer to Teagan

Who pays the bills?
We pay them together. I write the checks, Travis does all the computer on line stuff. (But he licks the envelopes, because it makes me gag!)

Who mows the lawn?
Chris, the landlord. But Travis weeded the garden last year, I used being pregnant as an excuse that I couldn't do it...(I did help until that big spider jumped out at me!) I'll have to come up with something again this year!!!

Who cooks dinner?
Travis has started, because I work till 7, so when I cook we eat dinner at 8 at night, and it's to late for me and Travis is starving by then, so Travis cooks most nights now.

Who drives when you are together?
Travis, I make him nervous when I drive.

Who is more stubborn?
Me! I am very stubborn!! I'm just glad he is so patient!!

Who kissed whom first?
He kissed me first, but I wanted him to, so I made it very convenient

Who asked who out first?
Well, now that would be a topic of big debate in our house. Because it was 8 years ago, (Man I am old) I think that I told him to ask me out and so he did. But Travis says he just asked me out on his own.

Who proposed?
Travis did, it was really sweet, and he was really nervous, even though he knew I would say yes!!!

Who has more siblings?
We have the same, I have 3 sisters and 1 brother, Travis has 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Strange, but we are thinking of having 5 kids, I wonder why!!
