Travis's Kindergarten Cookbook

We just got home from a VERY long trip. (I will post the trip info later, this just can't wait!!!) While we were on vacation, we picked up the last of Travis's stuff from his house. I was looking through these boxes to see what fun treasures Travis had brought home and I found a cookbook that his Kindergarten class made. I almost wet my pants it was SO Funny. I just have to share Travis's Recipe...

Strawberry Cake

15 lbs. Sugar
5 eggs
6 lbs. Flour
3 Strawberries
1 gallon milk
2 lbs vanilla
1 lbs. Salt
1 stick butter

Mix all of this in a big bowl by hand. Stir for 15 hours. It's batter when it has little strawberry polka dots. Empty it in a cake pan about 16 inches long. Grease and flour the pan. Put it in a hot oven about 16 degrees. Cook it for about 17 hours. It will be all over red. Take out of the pan and put on a flat sort of pan. Frost it with yellow, green and purple icing and red, white and blue. Make the icing with some of the batter. Write Happy Birthday on it and put candles on it. I can eat 2 pieces with strawberry ice cream.

I love my husband!! This was really cute and I must say Travis's recipe was by far the most detailed. He didn't mention how much his dad eats, or say his mom isn't a good cook like some of the kids.

If you want more recipes to try, I have some good ones for Oatmeal, and mac and Cheese. Just let me know!
