The Cutest Thing...

Teagan is such a sweetheart! He is so good at going to sleep at night. He will put his hands over his eyes, telling me he is ready for bed, we get into a clean diaper, and our pj's get our kisses good night, say family prayer, and Teagan goes to bed. Most nights, he doesn't make a sound after I put him down.

Last night I put him down like we do every night, and he fell asleep almost instantly. About 45 minutes later, he is in his bed, laughing and squealing, and talking to himself. Normally he sleeps for 8 hours before we hear from him, so I walked into his room to make sure everything was okay, as I walked up to his bed, he gave me the biggest heart-melting smile, then quickly covered his eyes. I could almost hear him: "Oops, you caught me awake! Sorry mommy, I'm going to bed now!" I kissed him on the head and left. I stood outside his door waiting for him to start playing again, but he didn't make a peep! He went right to sleep!! I just hope he always goes to bed so good!! I love my little baby!!!
